YetepOn May 23rd 2016, Justin Martin released his “Radio 1 After Hours Mix” on Soundcloud, which aired originally on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show on April 22nd 2016. This forty minute mix will keep you moving and grooving and has some unreleased heat from the Dirtybird co-founder himself. The mix begins with Justin’s unreleased tropical rework of FKA Twigs track “Two Weeks”. The mix also features two unreleased singles “U R Here” and “Hold Them” featuring Mohna.
Justin’s first initial electronic music success was in 2003 after he released ‘The Sad Piano’. With the building hype from this track and the booming San Francisco underground scene Justin teamed up with fellow producer/dj Claude VonStroke to create Dirtybird Records. In 2010, Justin was featured on Pete Tong’s “Essential Mix” and scored himself the cover of Dj Magazine. Justin is now also widely known for his hip-hop influenced project with his brother Christian as The Martin Brothers.
Make sure to catch Justin Martin at Mad Decent Block Party Phoenix on September 17th 2016.
