Spinnin’ It Back: Kaskade – “It’s You, It’s Me”

Hey guys, today is the first of many weekly features to come – Spinnin’ It Back is officially here! This will be a weekly feature of all of the best songs of the past, something that is sure to kick-start your weekend off on the right note.

To jumpstart Spinnin’ It Back, we’re throwing it all the way back to 2003, 13-years ago to a time much simpler than now. A small DJ from San Francisco released their first album, a house-inspired album of pop dance hits. “It’s you, It’s me”, released by Kaskade, with vocals from Joslyn, was one of the songs that made Kaskade one of the leading musical pioneers for the modern day music scene. While it’s not as close to the house music you’re probably used to hearing, you’re definitely going to want to check it out still. I listened to it the entire time I wrote this article, and yes- it’s that good.
