YetepHannah Wants is back with her monthly mixtape and this one delivers! With 80 minutes of bass, hi-hats, wubs, and hard drums, Hannah Wants’ March mixtape could warm up the cool air with all of the fire tracks on this mix. As usual, Hannah Wants proves she’s got some of the strongest curation skills in the game, spanning so many sounds and artists. The 0316 Mixtape goes everywhere from deep house, garage, downtempo, and touching on everything from Marc Spence to L-Vis 1990 to Flume, proving that there are no limits to this mix. However, one of the most banging tracks in the entire mix comes from the queen herself in the form of the track “Just”, which will be released on Toolroom Records at the end of the week. The track’s mysterious bass riffs and deep vocals give the track a late night vibe that has the power to send bodies into an uncontrollable dance frenzy. If that’s just a taste of what Hannah Wants has got in store for her releases this year, well, what a time to be alive!
Hannah Wants has had a strong year so far, delivering eclectic, consistent mixtapes, putting out incredible remixes, such as her take on “Love Druggie (Addict)”, and playing shows all over the UK. While I am definitely hoping Hannah Wants makes her way back to the US soon, for now, I’ll just be bumping her unrelenting mixes and banging productions!
