One hit is never enough. For DVBBS, Shaun Frank, and Delaney Jane it must seem like muscle memory at this point. When it’s that good… Why not make it that good together? For these three that have popped up plenty of times on their own, it must have seemed that by now it ought to be time they do it all together: I give you the DVBBS, Shaun Frank, and Delaney Jane collab you have been waiting for, “La La Land”.
Wandering into new grounds for their sound is next to nothing to sweat about for DVBBS and Shaun Frank, as they both debut “La La Land” with a new, as Media Nanny calls it, “eclectic future pop sound” that is a whole new goody basket for us to open up and get surprised with. Jane’s vocals are nothing short of stunning – as we’ve seen time over time again – and do just the trick with these two on the track. Her vocals mesh perfectly over the featured “graceful piano chords ,and haunting synth in the vocal effects in the intro with the energy slowly building through heartbeat-style kicks, slick percussion and warm bass”. Yeah, now there’s a sound we’re not going to turn down.
In addition, they just dropped the music video for the song, which tells the tale of finding our own happy place!
DVBBS & Shaun Frank – LA LA LAND ft. Delaney Jane (Official Music Video)
This new hit has been doing the work itself, but just to top off the 180,000 hits it already had on YouTube, DVBBS threw a phenomenal Ultra Miami main stage performance to compliment the release, ’cause ya know, casual. Guess who joined them on stage? None other than Delaney Jane and Shaun Frank who made sure the golden set had its cherry on top too.
Feel free (As in go, go do it) to head over to https://spinnin.lnk.to/LALALAND to stream this track and fully comprehend what’s going on here. I already know this won’t be enough and that you will want more… So good thing for you, the duo themselves, DVBBS, will be doing their thing here in Arizona this Saturday, April 9th to kick off our Release pool party season. Ah, so burning up here this summer doesn’t actually sound so bad.
