YetepThis week for EDMovie Madness we will be checking out three awesome videos from The Chainsmokers, Oliver Heldens, and Alesso. The Chainsmokers and Alesso offer videos on the more intense side, while Heldens chooses the outrageous, random and funny route.
The Chainsmokers – “Don’t Let Me Down” ft. Daya
Alex and Drew, aka The Chainsmokers just nailed two performances at weekend 1 and 2 of Coachella, and to follow they’ve released they’re official music video for their infectiously popular single featuring Daya, “Don’t Let Me Down.” The 17 year old singer stars in the music video in which I think is trying to portray how powerful the feeling of being let down can be, alongside The Chainsmokers who released the track in February. She joins a group of dancers in a forest who seem to have control over the vehicle which Alex and Drew are riding in forcing them to bounce around in all sorts of directions and then hold them airborne at the end.
Alesso – “I Wanna Know” ft. Nico & Vinz
Alesso’s shows a lighter side to his music with his track “I Wanna Know.” The song features Nico & Viz, the singer-songwriter duo behind the 2015 hit “Am I Wrong” for a lovely love ballad. The music video tells the story of a movie being filmed with a stunt man for Alesso, with untold feelings for the beautiful girl in the film. Even though the stunt man is the hero in the video, Alesso still wins the girl in the end.
Oliver Heldens & Chocolate Puma – Space Sheep
Oliver Heldens just released a refreshing new track with Chocolate Puma titled “Space Sheep.” The track strays away from Oliver’s signature house drops as he and Chocolate Puma create an awesome future house drop instead. The music video for this one is so random, yet hilarious. It tells the story of a black sheep in the herd who is getting fed up with the sheep life. So he eats a glowing piece of grass and mutates into a super sheep. He then decides create an army of sheep and to go to outer space to make a plan of world domination. pretty epic.
Check out Oliver Heldens dropping “Space Sheep” this Saturday at Talking Stick Resort!
