YetepAnd this single is only the beginning of what’s coming for this impressively unique sound that we hear very little of. Die Antwoord, the reggae rap group composed of Ninja and Yolandi Visser (often stylized as Vi$$er) and DJ Hi-Tek, are back from being quiet for almost two years now. Their new track is titled “Dazed and Confused” and features God.
The single bears a far more mellow vibe than their usual rap/rave bangers, with Yolandi and Ninja switching off the vocals with cooing whispers over a thumping, Caribbean-tinged beat. The percussive elements still provide the Jamaican reggae feel that we are used to, but the vocals are different from what we usually hear. Check out the song below!
