It’s official we’re less than 10 days out from Insomniac’s Project Z and the hype couldn’t get any louder. As these two titanic genres get ready to clash at the NOS Event Center so do our time tables to see our favorite DJ’s. It’s time to draw the lines, will you be throwing down a sick Hakken with #TeamBasscon or head banging with #TeamBassrush… Or perhaps shuffling across the battle lines all night long? To help you mitigate any clashes in your schedule, or maybe educate you on some new artists we wanted to share with you some of these must see acts.
#TeamBassconMustSee: Darren Styles B2B Gammer
At the dawn of the rave scene these two UK Hardcore DJ’s were there, spinning vinyl in dark warehouses and renegade parties. Combined the two have over 50 years experience and it shows in everything they do, from production skills to mixing. Darren Styles undoubtedly the King of Kandi Kids is probably most known for his feel good track’s like ‘You and I‘ and ‘Flashlight‘. Gammer, well he is hands down one of the most versatile and skilled DJ’s in the world. Don’t believe me check out this video of him tearing the decks up.

#TeamBassrushMustSee: Doctor P B2B Cookie Monsta B2B Funtcase
I mean like C’mon do I even really have to spell this one out for you guys. Let’s just ignore the fact that these dudes have released some of the most iconic tracks in Bass Music history, they are literally a mad house behind the decks. I’ve seen this trio go out multiple times and I’ll give a heads up to the first timers, bring a neck brace!
Check out our interview with the trio here!
The lines have been drawn, now it’s time for you to decide. Are you #TeamBasscon or #TeamBassrush.
