For this instalment of The Relentless Record Collection we bring you Flux Pavilion’s Tesla. Originally released September 18th, 2015, Tesla is an edm melting pot that can not be classified to only one genre. Tracks such as ‘We Are Creators’ and ‘Pogo People’ show a prior unseen side of Flux’s production. For those of you who love Flux Pavilion for his heavy hitting bass classics like ‘Bass Cannon’ and ‘I Can’t Stop’ don’t you worry because tracks such as ‘Vibrate’ will give you your much needed dose.
If your neck isn’t broken after that prepare for it to be with ‘International Anthem’ featuring vocalist Doctor.
‘Never See The Light’ featuring Andrea Martin switches up the pace a little with with melodic lyrics, epic synth leads, and a trap style beat.
Flux Pavilion teams up with fellow producer Big Voyage to bring you “Shoot Me” featuring JakkCity. The track displays brass leads, tropical percussion, sensual lyrics, and unexpected bassy breakdown.
Joshua Steele, aka Flux Pavillion, was born January 15th, 1989, in Towcester, UK. After playing in several bands Flux teamed up with childhood friends Trolley Snatcha and Doctor P to create music digitally. Flux being heavily influenced by artists The Prodigy, Basement Jaxx, and Rusko is highly evident in his grimey brand of dubstep. In 2008, Joshua released his first track as Flux Pavilion ‘Cheap Crisps’. In 2009, Flux teamed up with Doctor P to create the now world known Circus Records. In 2010, Flux released his classic track ‘I Can’t Stop’ which is one of his most successful tracks is still played in venues, at festivals, and in radio mixes today. Since then Flux Pavilion has headlined several of his own tours as well as played festival sets such as Reading, Coachella, and Electric Daisy Carnival.
