Yetep“Hardstyle . . . A musical genre that has kept me fascinated for years. A style that has confronted and challenged me, time and time again. A style that has given me sleepless nights, in search of new ideas and influences. Looking through the pages that made our musical history, the game changers all had one thing in common. Simplicity. Music in its purest form. And you know what? That’s what it’s all about. I will take you back to the core. Less. Is more.” – Coone – Less Is More (Intro)

01. Cone – Less is more (Intro)
World famous Hardstyle producer Coone released his new album today, and it’s something truly every person no matter what genre of music they identify with needs to take a listen to. Staying true to his words, the Dirty Workz label owner peeled back the layers of every track bringing them to their elegant essentials.
Known primarily for his in your face lyrics and chest cracking kicks, this album is toned down comparably to what he’s made before. The tracks have that Dirty Workz kick that Hardstyle fans have grown up to, with a taste of Barong Family flavor to it.
Consisting of 16 tracks all together (including the intro), you’ll see collaborations with a staggering line of producers; Wildstylez, Dirtcaps, Zatox and Sephyx to name a few of them. The album closes with a powerful Coone remix of ‘Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike & Steve Aoki VS. Ummet Ozcan – Melody’.
From front to back Less Is More takes you on a journey. Goosebumps, feels and extreme 150BPM party music all wrapped up in one elegant package.
Please make an effort to listen to this album, you can find most the tracks posted on his Soundcloud account and YouTube. For the whole shebang just search as far as here http://www.djcoone.com/lessismore/ . The website previews some of the juiciest sections of the album for listeners.
