YetepDreamstate, one of North America’s largest trance events, will be heading to Melbourne, Australia on October 1st. Insomniac has yet to do large events such as this one in this region of the world. Even though they have perfected some of the most extravagant festivals in the United States, they haven’t done much work in Australia.

The lineup has just been announced and will feature John O’Callaghan, Paul Van Dyk, Rank 1, Sneijder, Mark Sixma presenting M6, and Genix B2B Sunny Lax. The event will take place at the Hisense Arena, just across the street from the famous Melbourne Cricket Grounds. Assuming there are big plans for all parties involved, this will open up an array of opportunities for the folks down under.
With that being said, Aussie electronic music lovers don’t know what they’re in for. The festival scene in AUS has been on a downfall as multiple festivals have been cancelled with no plans to return. With Insomniac peeping in, this could give them more large scale music events more often. This event will also open up the chance to take Insomniac Events to a higher level of globalization.
