YetepNew York based producers Nick Ditri and Danny Boselovic, better known by Disco Fries, have been building a name for themselves as a genre-swapping, innovative, duo. The two met at the Berklee College of Music and began performing as Disco Fries shortly after graduation. Since then they’ve released a number of singles and debuted their EP, Autonomous in April 2015, which made it to the top 50 of the iTunes charts. They’ve worked closely with Tiësto, actually producing a couple of the songs on his album A Town Called Paradise. They’ve also created the label Liftoff Recordings, and have a popular radio show Liftoff Radio that broadcasts on Sirius XM BPM. Needless to say, they’ve been busy!
Disco Fries have teamed up with Shanahan for their latest project, “Is It Over”.
The song was released at the end of September on Tritonal‘s label, Enhanced Music. Shy Martin provides the soft vocals for this track. They’re distorted yet beautiful. It takes a relatable, often sad subject, and gives it a playful rework. An upbeat melody mixes with synthesized beats to make for a perfect end of summer hit.
Keep your eyes open for the Disco Fries, we’re expecting big things to come from this breakout duo!
