Festival Focus: Beach Goth

Beach Goth. The combination of beach, goth, ..and Gucci Mane. This weekend, Eric Andre is hitting Orange County, and he’s bringing one of the most random lineups.

Bon Iver, Gucci Mane, Grimes, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Trippy Turtle, 2 Live Crew.. U.S. festival lineups keep getting better and better. You will only know what this festival contains if you get up and see for yourself. One could only imagine what a festival hosted by Eric Andre contains within.

What started as a close knit gathering in Santa Ana, Beach Goth has developed into a two day adventure with some of the most contemporary artists around. Humor thrives here. There is a plethora of surprises waiting to be unwrapped. This event has grown very large, very fast. Just a couple years ago there was a $15 cover at the door. With this lineup, tickets have shot up past $175.. over 10 times the amount not too long before.

From the looks of it, the festival is still being put together. It’s this weekend, so having to go into this not knowing who’s playing when is a bit of struggle. Also, the location was switched back to their prior without an official announcement. Who knows where this festival is going to take you.
