YetepJustice is a French duo consisting of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay. They’re known for their breathtaking, one-of-a-kind beats. They’re also becoming known for their lengthy waits between albums. Justice’s debut album, † , was released in 2007 and received a Grammy nomination for Best Electronic/Dance Album. It wasn’t until 2011 that they released their follow-up album, Audio, Video, Disco. ” An album is such a precious thing, so we work at a very slow pace,” said de Rosnay. Now after another five years, Justice has released a third album, Woman, and fans are ecstatic! Millions of views have been accumulated in the two weeks since the album’s release. You can listen to the full album below:
The 10-track album has been called a “contemporary disco masterpiece”. Justice live streamed the album in its entirety just days before the official release on November 18. It’s full of indie-dance hits. It depicts feelings of power and strength, but there’s a type of delicacy, too. Instruments and a live choir give this album a certain edge unmatched by most. This type of magic obviously takes time, and it was worth the wait.
