Last year’s Phoenix Lights Festival left us begging for more, with one of the best lineups the Phoenix music crowd has ever seen. As sad as it is, the year is speeding by us, and in just a few more months the lights will return with an even better set up.
If you haven’t seen already, this year’s lineup is almost too good. My favorite part about the lineup is its versatility in style, with everyone from Alesso to Illenium to Oliver Heldens, we will get a vibey mix of genres for all EDM lovers.
Phoenix Lights is showing off not only the O.Gs in the game but the up and comers that will soon be at the top of the ladder. One of the newly added artists to the lineup, Ekali, is a set I highly recommend seeing this April. The Vancouver born and raised DJ has quickly risen in the industry as an artist to watch.
Starting out releasing remixes on Soundcloud, his What So Not remix of Gemini earned him huge props, and continued the hype with his Smoke & Retribution remix. Also releasing hour long mixes with Too Future and Triple J, his name grew faster than anyone was expecting; rightfully so. He was quickly added to multiple festival lineups like Shambhala and Coachella. His live sets launched him into a heap of success, with undying energy that spread across the festival grounds.
His newest single with KRANE, Akira, is a high-energy track that perfectly shows off his heavy yet emotional style that would be a dream to see live.
Phoenix Lights is selling fast!! Don’t miss this incredible lineup and get your tickets ASAP!
