YetepBorgore has become an EDM icon over the years with his anti-genre “gorestep,” ladies man reputation, and insane live shows. Borgore titles himself as the ‘man who destroyed dubstep’ and is commonly known as ‘daddy,’ but his musical talents and creations prove that he is that and so much more.
Strategically dropped on 4/20, the highest day of the year, is Borgore’s new music video and track, “Help.” Half of the track consists of Borgore bragging about his wealth including cash and women, and the other half sounds like a cry for help to escape that lifestyle. Is Borgore trying to tell us something??
The music video is set in a tone of paranoia, as Borgore parties with models, on rooftops, and wanders the hall of his beautiful mansion, with a sign upon entry that reads, “welcome to hell.” Amongst the party atmosphere and anything he desires at his fingertips, Borgore appears afraid and unamused, seemingly portraying that his lifestyle isn’t as great as it looks.
Catch Borgore when he takes the stage at Wet Electric alongside Diplo, Anna Lunoe, Audien, Wax Motif and many more this Saturday, April 29th! Get tickets here.
