YetepIn September of 2015, What So Not released his Divide & Conquer EP. Since its release, the seven tracks on the album have seen numerous remixes, but the title track ‘Divide & Conquer’ has just received a killer remix from drum n bass trio, Noisia, and it’s insane.
Noisia, an acclaimed trio from the Netherlands, are known for their wild styles of drum n bass, but they occasionally produce other styles as well including breaks and house. Founded in 2002 in Groningen, the trio is comprised of producers Martijn van Sonderen, Nik Roos, and Thijs de Vlieger. They made their recording debut in 2003 with the Silicon/Tomahawk 12″ release on Nerve Recordings and then proceeded to produce a flurry of releases for drum n bass labels including Moving Shadow, Ram Records, Virus Recordings, and Renegade Hardware, among many others.
Noisia takes an extremely gritty approach with their remix, out to divide and conquer other artists. The songs melody strays not too far from the original, but its overall sound is completely transformed into a drum n bass banger. The tune is receiving an entire remix package that the rest of will be released tomorrow, take a listen for yourself to see which remix of Divide & Conquer you like best!
