That year, dubstep was going through its transitional phase as Flux Pavilion assisted in its modern establishment. With that, “Gold Dust” helped introduce bass remixes to a wider variety of people, many who were new to the electronic scene.

After the success of “I Can’t Stop,” Flux’s other tunes also started to surpass the standards of music. “Bass Cannon,” “Daydreamer,” and “Do or Die,” all took off, for their vigorous sound resonated with the people.
When it comes to “Gold Dust, “ it seemed as if everyone was dropping this tune at one point or another. To this day, if anyone played this tune in their set the crowd would for sure sing along to more than just the vocals.
