Born Niles Hollowell-Dhar, KSHMR is known for his incorporation of Indian melodies, and “Underwater” doesn’t seem to stray far from that. The song features Sonu Nigam, a well-known singer, composer, and film star in India. KSHMR was born in Berkeley, California, but many of his songs reflect Indian influence, most likely stemming from his father, who emigrated to the United States from India. Whatever the cause is, this exciting combination of sounds has resulted in the unique, forward-thinking producer we now know as KSHMR.
You can catch KSHMR this Saturday at BOO! Arizona at Rawhide Event Center in Chandler. Click here for more info.
