YetepOver the past six years, Buku Music + Arts Project has developed a reputation for being one of the most eclectic, cultured, and fascinating music festivals in the country. On March 9th & 10th, 2018, Buku returns to the lively city of New Orleans for a seventh year. It’s been self-described as, “big festival punch with an underground house-party vibe,” and past years have focused on EDM, hip-hop and alt-rock acts with live street art, one-of-a-kind art installations, and dozens of surprise “pop-up” performances. The recently dropped phase one lineup leads us to believe this year will be bigger and better than ever!

The phase one lineup includes a variety of superstar acts that leave us anxiously awaiting the next two phases. So far, the lineup includes MGMT, SZA, Flatbush Zombies, Mura Masa, Bishop Briggs, Hippie Sabotage, Honey Dijon and Isaiah Rashad alongside EDM heavy hitters like Bassnectar, Alison Wonderland and Borgore, and many more. This is just the beginning of something beautiful, we can tell. If the lineup and beautiful New Orleans landscape haven’t sold you, check out the BUKU 2018 trailer below and see what it’s all about.
The full line-up and more details will be rolled out in the months to come. Two-day passes are on sale in various options and travel packages, but they’re going fast so grab your tickets here now.
