Spin it Back Saturday: Deadmau5 – ‘Raise Your Weapon’

T’is the season of giving and for this Spin it Back Saturday we are giving a heavy dose of the bassy feels with Deadmau5’s “Raise Your Weapon”. The man who requires little introduction, Joel Zimmerman, is the twitter tyrant and doctor of dubstep gifted us this song in 2010 and to this day remains a beloved song. Just this last weekend at Escape, Tiesto dropped this song and the crowd went ape (myself included). A true masterpiece stands the test of time, “Raise Your Weapon” will stand firm in its place as “one of the best ever”.

In 2012 “Raise Your Weapon” was Grammy nominated for Best Dance Recording, which was only one of three nominations. Say what you will about him, but the man has a right to stunt his flippant ego, he and this song are legendary.
