YetepItalian DJ and producer Luigi Madonna is no newbie when it comes to the world of techno. The artist got his start as a youngster in 1996, where he began to learn the trade while experimenting with his own style. He arrived at minimal techno. Starting with small club gigs in the region, Luigi began expanding as he rose in the industry, and eventually played Old River Park, a legendary venue in techno’s history, which has housed DJs such as Joseph Capriati, Dominik Eulberg, Argy, and Ben Sims, making this a significant step in his career.
What sets Luigi apart from the rest are his live sets. His enthusiasm is infectious as he commands his booth with a strong, yet graceful presence. He often opts for long, adventurous blends, making him a favorite at many clubs and festivals, as well as a frequent guest on many high-profile radio shows. That’s why Luigi is an excellent choice for this week’s RB Deep in the Mix – a guest mix for Drumcode Radio Live from Pacha, Ofir. Check it out below.
This mix encompasses that same energy Luigi brings to his live shows each and every time. If you want a chance to get in on that action, be sure to catch him on Saturday, March 17 at the Monarch Theatre. Get your tickets here.
