YetepIf you’re a basshead, chances are good you’re probably pretty familiar with Joshua Mellody, better known as dubstep master Zomboy. The English DJ and producer got his start in the industry back in 2011 with his first single, “Organ Donor,” followed by the release of his first and very successful EP, Game Time. The following year, Zomboy released his second EP – a six-track dubstep beast, titled The Dead Symphonic. This week’s Spin it Back Saturday pulls from that very EP, one of Zomboy’s most epic tracks – “Nuclear (Hands Up).” Take a listen below.
This track embodies what we love about Zomboy. It’s wub-heavy and monstrous, with some reggaetón vibes thrown into the mix. Zomboy knows exactly what we like – and he’s been delivering since the good ol’ days of 2011.
If you want to catch up on some Zomboy, be sure to grab your tix to Phoenix Lights this April, where he’ll be performing alongside Diplo, Martin Garrix, Travis Scott, and more.
