Born Isaiah Rivera of the Bronx, New York, Wifisfuneral is a hip-hop artist who is rapidly rising out of the underground and into the spotlight. The 21-year-old first got his start in the industry just a few years back with the release of several mixtapes, including “Black Heart Revenge” in 2016 followed by “Boy Who Cried Wolf,” and “When Hell Falls” in 2017. He signed a record deal with Alamo Records and Interscope Records in March of 2017, which helped launch his career. Drawing inspiration from the likes of MF Doom, Lil Wayne, and Eminem, Wifisfuneral has garnered 8.5 million streams on SoundCloud with his music, which often includes personal lyrics inspired by struggles with depression and drug abuse.
This week’s Watch It Wednesday is the very latest from Wifisfuneral, “Knots.” Check it out below.
Wifisfuneral – Knots (feat. Jay Critch)
Featuring Brooklyn-based rapper Jay Critch, the video shows Wifisfuneral throwing money around, buying expensive watches, and posing in front of pricey, foreign cars. “Knots” is a single from Wifisfuneral’s upcoming project, Ethernet, due to be released June 8. With a knack for delivering personal lyrics that flow with ease, Wifisfuneral is sure to be a name on everyone’s lips soon enough.
