YetepJackson Stell, or as we know him, Big Wild, has been curating some of the grooviest beats on the industry. Originally from Massachusetts, Stell began creating at the age of 14 and was soon discovered on Soundcloud by none other than Odesza. Within a few months of this, Big Wild opened for them on the ‘In Return Tour’ in 2015. Soon after, he began touring with huge names such as Griz, Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, and more.
This week, Big Wild released his newest track, “Ascension.” This new song is unlike many of his other tracks; it’s much darker and grimier than we’ve heard from him previously. Regardless, if you’ve heard Big Wild before, you know it’s almost impossible not to get up and dance.
If you love Big Wild and love watching artists switch up their own game, give this track a listen. He’s not currently touring around the Southwest, but be sure to keep an eye out for him at the larger fests this summer like Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and HARD Summer.
