Green Velvet Unveils New Track ‘Pez’

Electronic dance music legend, trailblazer, and one of the hottest DJ’s in the house scene, Green Velvet first appeared in 1993 when he launched Relief Records. The green-mohawked DJ and producer has since maintained a constant presence in the industry, and has sent shock waves throughout the House and Techno scenes.

Following the recent release of his two-track EP, False Claim, Green Velvet is back with an original track. Check out “Pez” below.

“Pez” is a silky-smooth collaboration with up and coming producer Mihalis Safras and it’s already charted in the top 10 on Beatport charts since its release on July 6. Featuring lyrics like “there’s something good inside my head,” it’s hard not to like this upbeat track.

While the Chicago-born artist has been active in the scene for decades under various aliases, it clearly doesn’t stop him from maintaining a fresh perspective when it comes to production.
