Dutch DJ/producer Laidback Luke has successfully carved out a career that now spans two decades and has taken him to every corner of the globe. He’s produced over 100 releases and worked with some of the top artists in the world. With such an extensive career, it’s no surprise to learn that Laidback Luke has explored many genres over the years, and he actually first laid out his production roots in the realm of techno.

In My Mind #7: Techno-only Set!

In this week’s mix, Laidback Luke is transformed into “Techno Luke.” Citing some of his techno inspirations, including Jeff Mills, Dave Clark, Frankie Bones, the artist explains just how he got into electronic dance music production.

This Techno Set is No. 7 of Laidback Luke’s In My Mind vlog series, a fun new side project he’s been working on. In each vlog, including this one, he answers fan questions, gives some background, and then delivers a short, but awesome set. He also focuses on educating inspiriting DJs by providing tutorials. In this Techno Set, he lays it all out for those of us who don’t actually know what a DJ does when he plays.
