YetepAfter taking a small hiatus to reinvent their sound, Disclosure is back and groovier than ever. The duo stopped touring in order to work on their upcoming 2019 LP, and have so far released a few tracks after this rejuvenating break. It’s safe to say they’ve brought back not only their classic deep-house chords, but added a whole new level of funk we didn’t even know we’ve been missing.
Recently, the two dropped their track “Moonlight.” The track is a rework Victor Young’s 1952 hit, “When I Fall In Love,” sung by aa acapella ensemble, The Real Group. The original song is slow but breathtaking, appealing to classic 1950’s sound. Disclosure took this vibe and created a new, hypnotic-pop feel that leaves its listeners clambering to hear more.
Unfortunately, we’ll all be waiting a few more months to get our hands on their upcoming album, but we’ll have “Moonlight” on repeat during that time!
