YetepSydney duo Flight Facilities dropped their acoustic-meets-electronic gem “All Your Love” earlier this year to widespread critical acclaim. The beautifully tempered single, which features fellow Australian artist Dustin Tebbit on vocals, blended folk influences with crescendoing guitar and muted synths, and took the pair away down a more chilled-out route that hit all the right notes. Reversing that direction is Morgan Page. The American’s remix manages to bring the track back onto the dance floor while still retaining the delicate, ethereal quality of Tebbit’s vocal and the structured, chugging tempo of Gruzman and Lyell’s original production.
By bringing the sharpness of the synths into the foreground and releasing the mute button on the percussion, Page creates depth and adds a new, swirling dynamism that underpins the remix as a whole, injecting enough energy and pace for the track to hold its own on the biggest dance floors and festival main stages.
