Relentless Beat of the Week: Matroda – ‘No Doubt’

Just a few months back we showcased Matroda as our May DJ to Watch. We were so overtaken by his hard-house ways his sound stopped us dead in our tracks and got us typing. Now, upon his latest release with Dillon Nathaniel titled “No Doubt,” we’re back for more as it is today’s Relentless Beat of the Week.

Released on Tachmi‘s Confession label, “No Doubt” is a house track that is bred in the baseline. It’s downtempo while still evoking the sensation to dance. It has machinery sounding elements that bring unfamiliarity to the often overly-familiar house genre. Matroda is someone who does not follow the leader when it comes to making music. He really is cultivating is own sound and once you hear it you’ll see what we mean. Check it out.
