YetepOn this week’s Watch it Wednesday, we are stepping into Juice’s WRLD. His music video for “Lean Wit Me” dropped earlier this month and it shows viewers the dark sides of America’s drug culture. The video starts out with Juice WRLD in a 12-step Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. When asked to tell his story, Juice starts rapping. Throughout the video, the lyrics and video get progressively heavier. As the video comes to a close, Juice is seen getting arrested and riding out the back of a police car. The video ends with a phone number to an addiction hotline number, encouraging people suffering to take the first step.
Juice WRLD – Lean Wit Me (Official Music Video)
“Lean Wit Me” is off of Juice Wrld’s debut album Goodbye & Good Riddance that dropped in late May. Within just a couple of months, Juice has blown up and has hundreds of millions of streams on Spotify. The album reached number 6 on the Billboard top 200 charts, and his breakout single “Lucid Dreams” peaked the charts at number 3 on the Hot 100. What makes the 19-year-old artist stand out from others is the way he blends emo and hip-hop lyrics together. It works almost too well together.
Juice WRLD is bringing his world to Goldrush 2018 in less than a month on September 29th and 30th! Grab tickets here!
