YetepThe artist who is as mysterious as his moniker, 1788-L is this week’s DJ to watch. He stepped out into the Soundcloud spotlight about a year ago and he has already garnered almost half a million followers on streaming platforms. His sound is spooky and his vibes are relentless–that must be why we like him so much!
In February of this year, the ever so suspicious producer released a remix of Virtual Self’s “Particle Arts” and it nearly went viral. Since he has been placed on everyone’s radar as a rising star. After the earth-shattering remix he has remixed Daft Punk and Skrillex, worked with Blanke and Illenium, and released some epic originals. All while producing in the public eye in under a year; that’s pretty amazing!
He recently released a 4-track EP SENTIENCE in the same mysterious fashion he’s built his career. He dropped the collection on an AI-powered website he created. He’s toured with Rezz, Ekali, Zeds Dead, and we’re sure this is just the beginning.
His sound is best described as a scary movie soundtrack with subs. How fitting that we are bringing him out to AZ for Boo this Oct. Grab your tickets here and see 1788-L alongside Kayzo, Aruis, Habstrakt, Boogie T, and more. Spook ya there.
