YetepUp and coming artist Blunts & Blondes just dropped some heat with Firepower Record’s own Bandlez. If you’re a boss ass bitch you need to check this track out. “Queen Bee” is a fun and heavy festival banger that is sure to light up dancefloors. The intro features lyrics ripped from the early Nicki Minaj song “Boss Ass Bitch.” The two DJ’s loop the vocals, speed them up, add a bumping bassline packed with drum samples and exploding rhythm for the intro. “Queen Bee” drops into a wonky and wobbly bassline that will blow you away. My favorite part about this song is that you can tell which part of the track each artist worked on. The intro and break have Blunts & Blondes signature sound written all over it. While the drops stay true to Bandlez’s heavy veering bass sound.
The heavy cocktail of bass these two mixed up is unforgiving. Which is why we are making “Queen Bee” this week’s Relentless Beat of the Week.
If you want to see Blunts & Blondes in action for yourself, make sure to pick up a ticket to Boo! On October 20th. This festival is catering to all the sounds bassheads crave. Grab tickets here.
