Detroit’s PEEKABOO dropped his own haunting mix over Halloween. It’s matched gory expectations and has us all watching what he’ll do next. Leading a new bouncier style of dubstep, the extraterrestrial producer has been killing it in LA and getting his tracks played out across the globe. Now having made himself a household name for at least the next few years, he puts out a mix distinct to his personal style, while featuring some of the best new artists in the game. The track list contains now mainstream hits of his like “Babatunde” with G-Rex, and “Maniac,” while also focusing on many lesser discovered producers, and exposing some new ID’s. His branding, image, and marketing all match the spooky vibe to the max, arguably better than those who already release a dark mix on the holiday. Most notable songs are “NICE ONE’ by kLL sMTH, “Scrazy” by Um.. and “Inaccessible” by UFO and Bro Safari. Effin is also a talented new producer from Los Angeles that makes a wild impact on the mix with an absolutely fitting ID of his. PEEKABOO sure does know to scope out the new talent and puts it all together in his own unique flow.
