YetepAl Ross rolled up about 4 years ago and since, he’s made quite the impression on the bass scene. Thriving in the low-end of the things, Ross dabbles in the dirty, dubby, downright disgusting riddim. We see this first hand in his first event Soundcloud release. His remix of Jphelpz’s “Biggup King” is wonky and weird and everything we love about riddim.
A year later he flew the remix nest and ventured out onto solo territory. Him and fellow bass bro, Yakz created “The Final Countdown”. This track is HUGE with mind splitting synths and a bass line that will shake your innards from start to finish.
Fast forwarding to what he is up to these days- Al Ross has been in the studio with Boogie T and he has been graced with the opportunity to be apart of the “ultimate battle Royal of dinosaur fueled dubstep” with Excision at the Coliseum in February. Things seem to be taking off for this DJ to Watch. And lucky us, we get two chances to see him live. Check him out at Gentle Bens in Tucson and Tempe at Aura.
