YetepTails is the work of an island, Vancouver-based producer affiliated with local and global collectives, Chapel Sounds and Film Noir. Spencer Reid’s creative project came to light in the spring of 2014 and has gained worldwide recognition with tracks like “Hold Up” and “Vega.” Breaking through the mainstream sound waves, Tails sound cuts through us like a sharp, hardcore knife.
He’s dropped collaborations with Graves, Alexander Lewis, and MadBliss, his work has gained support from noted artists such as DJ Craze, Louis the Child, and Mt. Carmack. What makes Tails turn heads is his use of lo-fi gear from tape decks to vintage samplers to make empyreal unquantized club music.
His most recent work has seen him working with NYC producer, Inverness. The two came together to bare bones with “Skeleton.” The song has soft vocals and a riveting melody that eases up on the hardness we are used to seeing.
Joining fellow filth master in the amongst the wild waves at Wet Electric, Tails and RL Grime are coming in hot and ready to make a splash. We’re going all out for our 10th anniversary of getting wild in the water- come out and bask in the bass with these two artists along with What So Not and Benny Benassi. Grab your floats and your tickets here.
