Krilla Drops Zeds Dead ‘Collapse’ Flip

There’s a lot of bass talent sprouting from the depths as of late, and one that is especially blooming is Krilla. He’s drawn our attention lately for his talent with flips from artists like Peekaboo, Porter Robinson, and, most recently, Zeds Dead. Flips can be tricky, especially when they’re of beloved songs like “Divinity” and “Collapse,” but Krilla is proving it’s an art he’s mastered. Make sure you’re sitting down and let’s listen to his ZD flip.

Most importantly, Krilla honors the original soulfulness of the song by minimally touching the intro and vocals. Pay attention to the drops. The up-and-coming DJ doesn’t just shine – he explodes. The first drop is completely unexpected, erupting with warped voices, deep wubs, and heavy womps offset by laser sounds. Krilla adds his own sparkle to the song with emotive violin samples layered over the chorus and finishes with a second drop that compliments the ZD sound even more with glitchy synths. Keep an eye on Krilla, and be sure to check out his original tracks, too.
