Yetep2019 kicked off with an exciting announcement for fans of weird, wonky bass music all around the world. Wakaan—the growing freeform label headed by none other than Liquid Stranger—just confirmed it will host its debut festival later this year.
After endless rumors swirled all of 2018 about a possible event, the label finally took to Twitter to unveil a Save the Date for the very first Wakaan Festival.

So far, the lineup and location are still under wraps, but the dates October 3rd to 6th are confirmed. So mark your calendars!
Few other details are known as of yet, but one thing is for sure: this lineup will bring the best in bass. In the three years since Wakaan’s inception, the roster has been steadily growing. 2018 alone featured releases from huge names in the experimental bass game like Minnesota, Esseks, Space Jesus, Freddy Todd, and Liquid Stranger himself, along with tracks and EPs from noteworthy up-and-comers like PEEKABOO, G-Rex, and EAZYBAKED.
Stay tuned for more updates as we count down the days to the 2019 Wakaan Festival!
