YetepAlready owning some of the hardest grunge house in the game, Saint Punk is ready to take it up a notch. Now releasing a two-track EP on Confession, this artist is starting to push his own boundaries, building off some truly wild remixes from 2018. Full of sick break down beats to go along with some filthy bass, this stuff is fresh gold for house music addicts.
Both “Daddy” and “Disko” highlight a winning formula, consisting of beefed up kicks, detuned vocals, screaming basses, and monster beat switch ups. The project comes off the tail of four heavy but remixes for a variety of popular artists including Nine Inch Nails, Young Dro, and GRAVEDGR. Still a newer name in the game, it is really exciting to see what Saint Punk has been able to do so far having reached a label like confession so quickly. Both of these tracks are of extreme professional quality, and it is always startling to see an artist with such little following in their early development own such a finished sound.
