YetepPhoenix producer Stephen Scotti, known as Ekonovah, has been anything but lazy this year. The talented individual has quickly escalated with his smashing house hits, putting him on Dim Mak Records and now Tchami’s infamous Confession label. Leading with highly processed vocals and a wildly fun melody, this one matches all the newcomer hype.
He’s just getting started. In fact, its been just a year since he created the Ekonovah project. His flip of “Language” by Porter Robinson is still buzzing and being played out by Porter himself in his live sets, grabbing the attention of a wide and growing fan base. “Lazy,” however, speaks much more to his style of music, a unique blend of tech and bass house that immediately commands much deserving attention. You can scroll through some of the comments on his SoundCloud and find support from some world traveling mainstage artists that are blown away by the distinguished and personable music that he brands as “Ekotech”.
The big catch is that he is not even fully focusing on music until this summer when he finishes school. A scary thought for a person who has already seemed to accomplish so much with a lot on his plate, and done so in such little time. Ekonovah could be one of the top new house artists in 2019, so open your mind and ears to some of the best new 4 on the floor music the industry has to offer, and lace up those dancing shoes!
