Eskei83’s ‘Make The Record Skip’ Receives the Full Remix Treatment

The Red Bull 3 Style World DJ Champ and producer Eskei83 is brandishing his latest release. Coming some time after he dropped “Make The Record Skip” are seven remixes of the track, each of which takes the original to dizzying new heights.

Now working with esteemed rapper Sam King, Eskei83 dives in first with a remake of the tune. Fresh and zingy, we love its sharpened use of drums and crisp new tempo. Other notable works come from WIDE AWAKE with their expansive cut and Thugli’s trap-influenced offering.

Eskei83 explains the aim of the remixes, saying:

 Make The Record Skip was my most successful track of 2018 and every time I play it, it takes off! I had to bring it into 2019, so I asked my favorite producers to interpret it their way. Also, I wanted to work with Sam King for a long time and asked him to tell the story of ‘Make The Record Skip.’ I’m super stoked that I now have so many dope versions in different styles that I can choose from for my live sets – to make the crowd go so wild that the needle on my record will skip.
