DJ Snake Releases ‘Loco Contigo’ with J. Balvin and Tyga

Are you crazy in love? French producer DJ Snake definitely is. You’ve probably heard his name before, as he is the mastermind behind many popular hits that have not only gained massive popularity in the EDM community but well outside of it too.

With DJ Snake’s relatively recent bilingual hit “Taki Taki” sweeping fans off their feet, it was about time for another Spanglish smasher. Collaborating with Colombian singer J. Balvin and American rapper Tyga, the three came together to create “Loco Contigo” which translates to crazy in love. You can hear the song and watch the music video below!

The music video features the 3 artists in a desert landscape, driving a pink-colored car and wearing vibrant outfits to match. The pop of color and furry companions make this video both entertaining and slightly comical, intriguing the audience and guiding them through the song. The beat is consistent but groovy, and easily supports the various vocal sections in the track that cover styles of edm, hip hop and possibly some influences of reggaeton as well. In addition, some of the vocal runs and work on this song are arguably beautiful and nuanced, fitting into the smooth flow and almost seductive mood of the song perfectly.

As the title of the song suggests, the lyrics are about being crazy in love with someone, and even if you aren’t currently pining after the love of your life, this new hit will certainly have you dancing and singing along before you know it!
