YetepThe long-awaited collaboration between heavyweight producers Above & Beyond and Seven Lions that debuted at EDC 2019 is finally out on Anjunabeats. The track features vocals from emerging South African band, Opposite The Other and it was released just ahead of Above & Beyond’s recent Group Therapy Weekender festival in Washington State. It’s a must-hear. Check it out below.
Equally as important, what may just seem like an epic collaboration to you, is actually an earmarked moment in history that brings to forces of nature, back right where they began. A humble remix competition in 2011 launched the juggernaut we all know as Seven Lions. A surprising and distinctive rework of ‘You Got To Go’ (feat. Zoë Johnston) caught the ear of Jono, Tony, and Paavo, beginning a meteoric rise from bedroom dreamer to a mainstage headliner.
A vocal fan of Above & Beyond’s early works, Jeff’s (Seven Lions) own inimitable brand of high-octane, bass-saturated dance has always kept songwriting at its core. “I’ve been a fan of Above & Beyond for such a long time, and I’m so stoked to finally unveil our collaboration ‘See The End’ feat. Opposite The Other. My journey began with a remix way back in 2011, and to finally see this collab come out is a real full-circle moment and one I’ll cherish for a long time.” Seven Lions says.
If you want to catch more of Seven Lions, don’t miss the Alchemy Tour, featuring Seven Lions, The Glitch Mob, and NGHTMRE + SLANDER (Gud Vibrations). The tour will make 20 stops between August and October and will end right here in Arizona on Sunday, October 13. Click here to purchase tickets.
