YetepThere are artists who have been making radio episodes for years and years, and then there are shiny new radio shows with fresh ears of other producers. One of these mint shows is Box Of Cats Radio, and Episode 6 is this week’s Radio Recap. Box of Cats is the collective mind of Wongo, Jeff Doubleu, Jak Z, Kyle Watson, and Tom EQ. This inspired group of producers uses their record label to promote groovy, tech-y house music that may have been missed by larger labels. Episode 6 of Box Of Cats Radio features some of this music – listen below.
This episode features a 30-minute mix from and an interview with Walker & Royce, one of the most successful house DJ duos in the industry at the moment. The interview sounds more like a conversation among friends, where Walker & Royce chat about their experience at Electric Forest, upcoming EPs, and the story behind “Take Me To Your Leader.” Music in this episode includes tracks from artists like Wongo, LOZZ, Justin Martin, Kyle Watson, and more. The latter of these, Kyle Watson, is a critical piece of Box Of Cats. He’ll be spinning the sounds of Box Of Cats at this year’s Goldrush on September 27th & 28th. Get tickets here!
