DJ to Watch: Grabbitz

Nicholas Chiari is a New York-based DJ, producer, and musician who operates under the alias Grabbitz. The 26-year-old started gaining traction in 2014 with the release of his single “Here With You Now” and has since released multiple full-length albums, EPs, and singles. For this week’s DJ to Watch, we want you to get to know Grabbitz a little better.

Known for blending rock and electronic music, Grabbitz is a multi-instrumentalist who brings organic elements into his production. He also puts on a high-energy live show, inspiring moshers and dancers alike.

He appeared on Rolling Stone’s 2017 list of 10 New Artists You Need to Know and Rolling Stone also referred to him as “an updated version of the heady late-nineties days when rock and ‘electronica’ commingled freely.”

Grabbitz has collaborated multiple times with fellow producer Sullivan King on songs like “Show Stopper,” and “Crazy as You.” The two artists share similar skill sets that complement one other. Make sure to catch them both for Sullivan King’s Thank You For Raging tour. They’ll be at The Green Room in Flagstaff on November 7th and again at The Pressroom in Phoenix on November 8th.
