‘IRIS: A Space Opera by Justice’ Is Coming to a Theater Near You

French electro-house duo Justice took the world by storm with an utterly mind-blowing and diverse album, Woman Worldwide, that took ten years of careful culmination. Then, the live performance left even the wildest crowds slack-jawed and awe-inspired. Traveling to over 30 places in 25 months, the duo delivered a show unlike any other, complete with their fluid sound, knock-out light shows, and unbridled energy until each sets’ close. Their aesthetic falls heavily on retro imagination, transporting listeners out of this world and delivering their most authentic selves with each show. If you haven’t heard them before, you truly are in for an immersive experience that encapsulates their tour performance and their history as musicians in a 60-minute feature. The 2018 Grammy-winning album, Woman Worldwide, has its own film and its coming to a theater near you. Check out the trailer for “IRIS: A Space Opera by Justice” below.

IRIS: A Space Opera by Justic (Official Trailer)

Co-directed by André Chemetoff, a cinematographer, and Armand Beraud, a visual effects artist, the two worked with Justice (Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay) by compiling and reviewing footage from the tour. Each moment, mistake or not, was used to inspire the isolated performance that births “IRIS: A Space Opera by Justice.” This new film is a tribute to their work for Augé and de Rosnay, for those who grew up on their sound, and those just hearing Justice’s name for the first time.

This sci-fi, electro-house experience will be playing in several theaters around the Phoenix valley on Tuesday, September 10th. Find tickets near you!
