YetepAs Halloween draws closer, we are getting more and more spooky bangers from some of our favorite artists. We can’t get enough of these horror-inspired songs and Black Tiger Sex Machine and YOOKiE have just released the perfect spine-chilling track. BTSM and YOOKiE have collaborated twice together before on “Lions” and “Snakes” and so when we heard a third collaboration was in the works, we knew it was going to be brilliant.
One thing both Black Tiger Sex Machine and YOOKiE know how to do well is set up a song and “Spiders” is no exception. The song starts off with a creepy, dark intro complete with epic atmosphere and cinematic drums. The intro slowly rises until we hear an electro heavy bass hybrid drop that combines the style of both BTSM and YOOKiE. The drop in “Spider” never loses momentum and YOOKiE’s signature style of heavy, experimental bass is intense. Vocals that will remind you of “Centipede” by Knife Party build tension during the break and prepare you for yet another wicked drop. Like “Lions” and “Snakes”, the combination of YOOKiE’s heavy free-form bass and BTSM’s electro are fused beautifully and its songs like these where we wish could have more collaborations from the two artists.
If you went to Bassrush Massive Arizona this year, you know how magnetic BTSM’s live performances are and lucky for us the masked heavy electro trio will be back in February for their Futuristic Thriller Tour. The tour stops in Phoenix at the Van Buren on February 8 (tickets available here), Flagstaff at the Orpheum Theatre on February 7 (tickets available here), and in Tucson at the Rialto Theatre on February 6 (tickets available here). The tour will be a visual masterpiece so prepare to be blown away.
