YetepMedasin‘s music is as healing and soothing as the moniker he’s cleverly dubbed the project. Far from aggressive high-energy dance music, Medasin creates melodies that softly whisper calm vibrations to the heart. His sound is contemplative but simple, inspiring those who want to daydream or to ponder his sound to do so as they please. After a career filled with fans blissfully melting into his music with no objections, Medasin has returned to us again with a single ahead of some big announcements, which is titled “Get By” and is our Relentless Beat of the Week.
Medasin’s 2020 tour, which includes a show at the legendary Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, ushers in his second upcoming album RIPPLS, and “Get By” is the debut single off that album. With warm synths and the velvety vocals of Cautious Clay harmonizing with Medasin’s creamy sound design, it’s a confident production of his and easily overshoots what his fans have long hoped for with new music. This beat alone is encouraging for what we can expect of Medasin’s sophomore album.
Medasin is sending waves on his RIPPLS 2020 tour, which features a stop at none other than Shady Park on May 8th. Click here to grab your tickets!
