RÜFÜS DU SOL Releases ‘Live from Joshua Tree’ Film and Single Ahead of Album

The ever so talented Australian electronic-indie trio, RÜFÜS DU SOL, is known for stealing hearts with their beautiful melodies, captivating vocals, and touching lyrics. They have been getting tons of praise for their most recent studio album SOLACE, which was released back in 2018, but since has been officially remixed and has now been recorded live. The RÜFÜS DU SOL men took to Joshua Tree California, which is actually where SOLACE was first recorded, to play and film some of their best tracks live for a special project. The 45-minute immersive film was debuted on February 18^th at the Vista Theater in LA, but will be available for all to see along with the album version on March 6^th. Luckily for us, after the initial film debut, RÜFÜS released “Solace (Live from Joshua Tree)” as the first single off the project, which you can watch below.

The live version of “Solace” is breathtaking to say the least. Full of RÜFÜS’ typical passion and attention to detail, this track gives listeners an insight on what the rest of the album will hold. The essence of being isolated with nothing but their music echoing through the desert is evident through the track. Some of their other hits that will be featured on the live album include “Eyes,” ‘New Sky,” “Underwater,” and “No Place,” along with a few favorites from past albums and one unreleased track.
