‘WHOA,’ BIJOU and Party Favor Have a New Hit on Their Hands

These two long time friends have finally collaborated and it was worth the wait! BIJOU and Party Favor have teamed up for their latest, WHOA, on Do Not Duplicate Recordings. While BIJOU’s music traditionally strays toward the house music vibes, this is a change of pace for the Party Favor project. However, this collaboration makes sense given Party Favor’s recent dabbling in the house lane with his SIDEPIECE project alongside Nitti Gritti.

“I met Dylan [Party Favor] in 2013 after we booked him for his first performance in Phoenix. I was working as a promoter and was his driver for the night and for some crazy reason we hit it off and became friends,” says BIJOU on initially meeting Party Favor. “After countless sessions and numerous songs written together, we finally found a track that worked perfectly. We had been toying around with a few tracks for a while now and something about WHOA just felt right. Big love and shoutout to him for the support over the years!”

And BIJOU is not the only one with words on the track. Party Favor is equally excited that the collaboration finally worked out, “Six years in the making, I finally got to do a record with my good friend Ben [BIJOU]. We’d been talking about it for so long and tried so many demos, so I’m excited it finally happened and everyone gets to hear it.”
