This week we’re taking it back to a track that will never go out of style; Steve Aoki’s “Pursuit of Happiness” remix from 2009! Most of us remember this track solely from the renowned party film Project X. After the film first came out this remix absolutely sky-rocketed and quickly became one of Aoki’s most famous remixes. Aoki took Kid Cudi’s sensitive soulful track and turned it into a crazy party anthem that we all know and love. Remixes like this are so special because when a DJ can take an already amazing track and change the entire feel of it to make another track that is just as amazing but also completely different it gives us an entirely new side of a song that we never would have imagined.
